Effective July 10, 2026
GateCheck generates implementation quizzes for GitHub pull requests and reports results through GitHub checks. It may optionally close pull requests after an incorrect submission when an installation administrator enables that setting.
You must have authority to install the GitHub App and submit repository content for processing. You are responsible for configuring repository rules, reviewing requested permissions, informing repository contributors about the quiz workflow, and ensuring your use complies with applicable policies and law.
Questions and grading keys are generated by automated systems and may be inaccurate. Do not use the service as the sole basis for employment, disciplinary, security-critical, or other high-impact decisions. Maintainers remain responsible for code review and can reopen a closed pull request.
Do not abuse the service, evade usage limits, interfere with its operation, probe other installations, or submit content you are not authorized to process. We may rate-limit or suspend abusive use.
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages resulting from use of the service.
You may stop using the service by uninstalling the GitHub App. We may suspend access for abuse, security risk, or legal requirements.
